Newly Refurbished 4 Railroad Slot Train Cars For Lease
Rail Industry Specialist, Inc. built this four(4) Slot Car Train Consist for New York Transit Authority (“NYTA”) five(5) years ago. These have now been updated and are available for Lease.
Some of the “new” improvements we incorporated into the construction of the Cars are as follows:
- “New” 1/2 “ x A572 Grade 50 floors
- “New” sides, top chords and “A” and “B” removable ends
- Cars are 52’ to 60’ gondolas with four(4) foot sides and “removable” ends….further supplemented with steel “cross-over” plates.
- Ramp allows travel from Car to Car with Small Excavator.
- Upgraded the ABDX System with the four (4) port receiver.
- The cars have sixteen(16) “new” wheels
- All new paint and labeling
